There are strong feelings about them, and there’s already a petition circulating in our community asking that they be removed. So this seems like a good time for us to come together and learn: What exactly are Flock cameras? How do they help law enforcement? And what are the concerns about privacy?

We’ll hear from people who can speak to different sides of the issue, including the law-enforcement case for using Flock cameras and the privacy and civil-liberties concerns surrounding them.

Afterward, we’ll open the conversation to questions from neighbors.

This isn’t a rally, a debate or an effort to tell anyone what to think. It’s an opportunity to better understand a technology our city is already using and to make up our own minds about it.
